HCS Subset (High Concentration Screening)

Good solubility is a vital component for successful FBS, and in order to make an ideal tool for this approach to early-stage drug discovery, ASINEX has filtered its entire BioFragments and F2L libraries with an extremely strict solubility cut-off of DMSO > 100 mM and H20 > 1000 uM.

The resulting subset of 8,000 compounds may facilitate the bypassing of biophysical FBS techniques due their exceptional solubility. Additionally, the high proportion of saturated heterocycles and an avoidance of poly-aromatic features has resulted in an exceptionally low number of auto-fluorescent compounds, which have also been removed from the HCS set.
