What is the origin of the compounds?
Compounds come from two main sources. The largest collection (Gold) is acquired externally from contract chemists and universities, mainly located in the fomer USSR; they have ID number starting with BAS. ASINEX also has a large in-house synthesized collection (Platinum), the laboratory is located in Moscow and has 151 chemists (54 Ph.D.), they have ID numbers starting with ASN.
How can I get a catalogue of your products?
All the compound collections are available in both SD and db format upon request. You can download them directly from our web site, or we can send you a CD (or hard copy if available) for the product(s) you are interested in. It is also possible to visit the on-line ordering section of this website to search and make selections from the main compound collections.
What are the rules for selecting compounds?
It is possible to select just one compound, cherry-picking is available from the Gold and Platinum Collections. The more compounds a customer selects, the lower the compound price will be. ASINEX's computational department can select compounds (free of charge) according to the specific physico-chemical properties that interest the customer; a special set will be prepared for you.
What is the purity of ASINEX's compounds and how is it verified?
The minimum purity of all compounds (externally acquired & in-house) is 90% minimum, and 95% on average. Purity is tested by NMR for 100% of the compounds (available free of charge upon request). LC-MS and TLC densitometry are used as supplementary controls.
In which format (form, packaging materials) is it possible to receive compounds?
Compounds are supplied as dry powder, dry film, or as DMSO solution. 96 & 384 well plates and vials from various suppliers such as Micronic, Marsh, Matrix, etc., are available. Plates and vials can be sent to ASINEX if our stock is not suitable.
How long does it take to deliver the compounds?
It takes 1-2 weeks to deliver compounds (depending on the number of compounds) after we have received an official purchase order.
