Discovery Chemistry
ASINEX offers wide-ranging opportunities for collaboration in all relevant research fields: custom library synthesis, hit-to-lead projects, lead optimization and exclusive library synthesis. ASINEX chemistry know-how has truly evolved from every-day combinatorial approaches. We apply our medicinal chemistry expertise and proprietary techniques in organic synthesis to service-based chemistry projects. ASINEX has developed a trustworthy reputation as a provider of outsourcing since the completion of our first project more than 7 years ago. A special advantage of ASINEX is an impressive in-house library of building blocks which are particularly useful for optimizing various parameters of lead compounds or for generating diversity orientated or target-specific libraries.
Along with "easy" chemical reactions (i.e. amide coupling, sulfonamide formation reductive amination) which are commonly used for the preparation of large compound libraries, ASINEX chemists are willing to explore a variety of modern synthetic techniques (e.g. boronic acid coupling, phenol and sulphonamide arylation, epoxide opening, C-C coupling reactions, multicomponent reactions, nucleophilic aromatic substitution, cycloaddition, cyclisations and heterocycle formations protection-deprotection sequence etc.) We are able to perform both solution phase and solid phase synthetic methodologies.
ASINEX has a trustworthy reputation as a provider of chemistry services. Please review our

Chemistry Expertise
Combinatorial chemistry and parallel synthesis
Hazardous and highly reactive chemicals (HCN, SOCl2, Cl2, COCl2, CO, ClCN, N3-anion)
High pressure reactions (10-100 bar)
Low-temperature reactions
Organometallic reactions (organolithium, Grignard, Heck reactions)
Reductions (catalytic, metal hydrides)
Oxidations (ozone, peroxides, ammoxidation)
Derivatization of natural products
Asymmetric synthesis (transition metal catalysts, biocatalysts, racemate separation)
The average output per chemist is approximately 50 compounds per month depending on the degree of complexity. For libraries the average number of synthetic steps is 5-6, and for projects 6-9 synthetic steps.
All analytical work is carried out in-house. We have 2 NMR machines: 400 MHz / 300 MHz and 2 LC/MS machines. Purification is carried by parallel crystallization, preparative HPLC and preparative TLC.
An English speaking project manager is assigned to every new collaboration, weekly reports shall be promptly provided, regular tele-conferences will be coordinated and face to face meetings as and when required.
