This particular step is performed at a larger scale under DNA-compatible conditions followed by rigorous HPLC purification in order to ensure that the product is suitable for further chemical transformations and ligation.
Based on your DEL codification strategy, the DNA-tag may either include a headpiece or contain a longer sequence recording a starting primer, and a starting structure-identifying tag. All DNA-Macrocycle Conjugates are supplied to your desk after careful HPLC purification. A LCMS report is readily available for each supplied product.
